Dr Cynric Temple-Camp, Midcentral Health

I see my role in representing and promoting both the public and private Health Industry in the Manawatu. There are workforce, recruitment and financial pressures in Health which will need support from the Business Community. Health is a critical part of the local infrastructure and I will monitor Health and facilitate any support   to ensure that our medical service remains a robust contributor to the local economy.

In the next 12 months I would like to see the Board maintain and develop the focus that has developed in the past 12 months. Particularly there should be an emphasis on accountability of the Council. I would also like to see more Health providers recognizing the value to them of the Chamber and taking up membership.
