Communication with Different Personality Styles

A white background with a few lines on it

Behavioral psychologists propose behavior can be classified into four

different styles. No style is better or worse than another, and each has

its strengths and weaknesses. Communicating effectively with different

personality styles is about understanding others, identifying

differences and collectively working towards something greater.

Understanding which of four personality styles you demonstrate the

most enables you to work better with others and shape your behavior

according to their styles. Recognizing dominant traits in yourself and in

others gives you and your team a leading edge.

This module allows participants to explore four dominant personality

styles: driver, expresser, amiable and analytical. When individuals

know their style and can draw upon natural strengths, they can cross

barriers and achieve more. Team members who can identify their own

communication strengths and tendencies can better understand others

and collaborate more confidently and efficiently.
